Aesir EHS — Acceptable Use Policy

Effective date: May 7, 2026 Last updated: May 7, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes prohibited uses of the Aesir EHS web application and related services (the "Service") provided by Aesir Services Inc ("Aesir," "we," "us," or "our"). This AUP is incorporated into and forms part of the Terms of Service. Capitalized terms used here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.

By accessing or using the Service, you and every user under your account agree to follow this AUP. Violations of this AUP are violations of the Terms of Service and may result in suspension or termination of your account, deletion of offending content, or other action consistent with the Terms of Service.

1. The short version

Use the Service for legitimate environmental, health, and safety work for your own company. Don't break the law, don't try to break our platform, and don't upload data you have no right to upload.

2. Prohibited content

You may not upload, store, transmit, or distribute through the Service any content that:

  • Violates any applicable law, regulation, or order — including export control, sanctions, environmental, labor, or privacy law.
  • Infringes the intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any person or entity.
  • Contains malicious code, viruses, worms, trojans, or other harmful software.
  • Is fraudulent, deceptive, or misrepresents your identity, role, or authority.
  • Contains threats, harassment, hate speech, or content that promotes violence or self-harm.
  • Constitutes child sexual abuse material or any other content that exploits minors.
  • Includes sensitive personal data outside the scope of legitimate business contact information for personnel and authorized representatives — including, without limitation, payment card numbers, full government identifiers (e.g., Social Security numbers), protected health information ("PHI") subject to HIPAA, biometric identifiers, or precise geolocation tied to a non-employee.
  • Falsifies, fabricates, or alters environmental records, monitoring data, permit information, or compliance reports for the purpose of misleading a regulator, the public, or any other party.

3. Prohibited conduct

You may not, and may not permit any user under your account to:

  • Bypass security or access controls. Don't probe, scan, test the vulnerability of, or breach the authentication, authorization, or rate-limiting of the Service.
  • Access another customer's data. Don't attempt to view, query, copy, or interfere with any data, account, or workspace that does not belong to your company. The platform is multi-tenant; tenant boundaries are non-negotiable.
  • Reverse-engineer the Service. Don't decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive source code or internal structure of the Service.
  • Scrape or auto-extract at scale. Don't use bots, crawlers, or automated tools to extract data beyond reasonable use of the Service's published interfaces and any documented APIs.
  • Resell or sublicense. Don't resell, sublicense, white-label, or commercially exploit the Service or its outputs without a written agreement from us.
  • Overburden the Service. Don't intentionally upload content or generate traffic designed to degrade performance, exhaust storage, or interfere with other customers' use of the Service.
  • Misuse credentials. Don't share your sign-in credentials with people outside your company. Each authorized user should have their own account.
  • Send unsolicited messages. Don't use the Service or any Aesir-operated email infrastructure to send spam, phishing, or other unsolicited bulk communications.
  • Use the Service to provide regulated professional advice you are not licensed to provide. Output from the Service is not a substitute for professional engineering, legal, or environmental judgment.

4. Customer responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • The conduct of every user you invite to your workspace.
  • Promptly removing or remediating any content or activity that violates this AUP if you become aware of it.
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of credentials, API keys, and any access tokens issued to your company.
  • Reporting suspected security incidents or AUP violations to support@aesir.services.

5. Reporting violations

If you become aware of any actual or suspected violation of this AUP — by another user of your workspace, by a third party, or by anyone else — please report it to support@aesir.services. Include enough detail for us to investigate. We treat security and abuse reports seriously and will not retaliate against good-faith reporters.

6. Enforcement

We may, in our reasonable discretion and consistent with the Terms of Service:

  • Investigate suspected violations.
  • Remove or disable access to offending content.
  • Suspend or terminate accounts.
  • Cooperate with law enforcement where legally required or where there is a reasonable belief of imminent harm.
  • For serious violations — including security violations, fraud, or unlawful activity — shorten or skip the Restore Period described in the Terms of Service before deleting Customer Data.

We will, where practical and not prohibited by law, give you notice and an opportunity to cure a violation before taking permanent action.

7. Updates

We may update this AUP from time to time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes — for example, by email or by a notice in the Service. Your continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance.
